These terms are the agreement between you and MyPholyo for using our app. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them.
What the service is
MyPholyo is a self-coaching and reflection tool that uses AI to generate a personalised audit, insights, and suggestions from the information you provide. It is not a source of professional advice; please read our important notices before relying on anything it produces.
Eligibility
You must be at least 16 (or the minimum age in your country) and able to enter a binding agreement. If you use the app for an organisation, you confirm you’re authorised to accept these terms on its behalf.
Your account
You can sign in with a one-time code sent to your email, Apple, or Google. You’re responsible for keeping access to the sign-in method you choose secure and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly at hello@theportfolio-method.com if you think someone else has gained access.
Trials, subscriptions & payment
- Some features require a paid subscription. We may offer a free trial that requires a payment method up front; unless you cancel before it ends, the trial converts to a paid subscription.
- Subscriptions renew automatically for the period you chose (for example, monthly or yearly) until you cancel. You can cancel any time, effective at the end of the current period.
- Payments are handled by our payment processor. Prices are shown before you buy and may change with notice for future periods.
- Refunds and cancellations follow this agreement and any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have, including EU/UK withdrawal rights where they apply.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- break the law or infringe anyone’s rights when using the app;
- disrupt, probe, or try to gain unauthorised access to the service, other accounts, or our systems;
- scrape, copy, resell, or build a competing product from the app or its generated content;
- misuse the AI features, for example to generate unlawful, harmful, or deceptive content;
- upload anything you don’t have the right to share.
Your content
You keep ownership of the information you enter. You grant us the limited licence we need to host and process it (including with AI providers) to operate the app and produce your reports and insights, as described in our privacy policy.
Our content
The app, its design, brand, and the software behind it belong to MyPholyo and are protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive right to use the app for its intended purpose. See Copyright & DMCA for reporting infringement.
AI-generated output
Reports, insights, and suggestions are generated by automated systems and may be inaccurate or unsuitable for your situation. They are provided for general guidance only, are not professional advice, and you’re responsible for any decision you make. Given the nature of AI, similar output may be generated for other users.
Disclaimers & our responsibility
The app is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties and aren’t liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for decisions you make based on AI-generated content. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law, including your mandatory consumer rights.
Suspension & termination
You can stop using the app and close your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if you breach these terms or to protect the service or other users. Sections that by their nature should survive (such as content licences, disclaimers, and limits of liability) continue after termination.
Changes
We may update these terms as the product evolves. We’ll change the date above and, for significant changes, let you know in the app or by email. Continuing to use the app means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law & contact
These terms are governed by the laws applicable to MyPholyo’s place of business, without affecting the mandatory consumer-protection rights of your home country. Questions: hello@theportfolio-method.com or the Support form.
